Educational Design at the Penn Stater My latest design project is to create signage and ambiance in the DeStress Zone and Exploratorium in the main lobby of the Penn Stater Conference Center and Hotel. The room directly across from the conference registration desk has been made over to be a stress free, work free zone where people can enter at their leisure and engage in the many biofeedback relaxation activities available. Several types of computer games that respond to your breathing and heart rate rather than by hand controls, an auditory/visual station, and a meditation lounge are among the many innovative stress interventions available. An open house for this new center will be planned as soon as the designs are finished.
